Our Team
Dr. Cemaine Tsang, DVM PhD
Cemaine joined Lakeview in January 2012. Prior to this, she has worked in Regina and at Central Animal Hospital in Saskatoon. Cemaine has degrees from McGill University and the University of Saskatchewan, including a Master's degree in neurology and a PhD in vaccines and immunology (Vaccine and Infectious Disease organization). She obtained her vet degree from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine at the U of S. In addition to vetting, Cemaine and her husband were partners in Saskatoon Curbside Recycling, which has been in the forefront of the recycling movement in this city. Spare time is spent renovating their 100-year old home and spending time with the family, which currently includes Ali, a retired RCMP German Shepherd that "does everything but bombs", and Redley, his 5-pound faithful sidekick poodle. Cemaine also volunteers with Street Cat Rescue and Pets in the Park.
Dr. Tammy Elliott-Reich, DVM
Tammy completed her vet studies at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine at the U of S in 2002. She comes to Lakeview with 10 years of experience practicing small animal veterinary medicine at Castleridge Veterinary Clinic in Calgary. Tammy has a bichon X shih tzu (named Lily), 2 cats (Charlie and Patches), and a Siamese fighting fish. Her spare time is spent at home with her two children, ages 2 and 4, and fitting in a scrapbooking hobby. Tammy believes that good veterinary practice comes from fostering long-term relationships with owners and their cats and dogs, and looks forward to meeting both continuing and new clients.
Vivi Pan, RVT
Vivi received her Veterinary Technician diploma from St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario, in 2007. She has previously worked as a veterinary technician at the ICU (Veterinary Teaching Hospital, U of S) and Central Animal Hospital. While working the Teaching Hospital, she adopted a gray stray cat that she named "Gravi" (because she is gray and Vivi's). In her spare time, Vivi enjoys aerobics, playing with her son and attending activities at her church. We like to think of her as "Super-Tech".
Cassandra Kaszas, RVT
Cassandra obtained her Veterinary Technician diploma from Kelsey SIAST in 2006 and worked at Martensville Vet Hospital prior to joining the Lakeview team in 2011. Cassandra has a Siberian Husky named Shelby; two cats (Aurora, who is the size of two small dogs, and Julio Gray, who was adopted from the SPCA); and a rabbit named VW. She is excited to meet you and your furry family members!
Kayla Bilsborrow, receptionist
Kayla obtained her BSc in Animal Biology at the University of Alberta and moved to Saskatoon in search of her next adventure. She has a passion for all animal species, and has worked with everything from companion animals at a veterinary clinic, to exotic animals at a zoo, to pigs at a swine farm. One day (soon), she hopes to attend the Western College of Veterinary Medicine. She has an energetic dog named Princess and a diabetic cat named Matilda at home in Alberta, and is a volunteer foster parent for New Hope Dog Rescue. She looks forward to meeting all the wonderful patients of Lakeview Veterinary Clinic, old and new!
Kelsy Enns, receptionist
Our Saturday receptionist is a familar face to many of Saskatoon's pet lovers. She has worked at the SPCA and volunteered with new Hope Dog Rescue. In the fall, she will start training as a VHT.
Myrle Leeper, technician assistant
After retirement, Myrle decided to look for an opportunity to work with animals and found the VOA (Veterinary Office Assistant) course at McKay Career Training. Myrle started working at Lakeview as a receptionist and has since become our tech/reception/vet assistant and general overseer of all things 4- and 2-legged - and loves every minute of it.
